چکیده
Context: Multidrug-resistant tuberculosis (MDR-TB) remains a major public health problem in developing countries such as the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), which continues to face emergence MDR-TB cases. Because ototoxic effects AGs, World Health Organization (WHO) has recommended introduction bedaquiline regimen. However, very few data are available regarding susceptibility induce hearing loss, hence present study set out compare AG-based regimen and bedaquiline-based occurrence loss patients. Methods: This is prospective multicenter cohort that included 335 patients, performed Kinshasa (DRC) during period from January 2020 2021. Sociodemographic, clinical, biological audiometric were analyzed using Stata 17. Repeated-measures analysis variance was used changes degree over time between two groups patients on AG regimens. The double-difference method estimated regression with fixed-effects. A p value Results: similar at first month [AGs (28 dB) vs BDQ (30 dB); = 0.298]. At six months, mean significantly greater aminoglycoside group (60.5 (44 Conclusion: Hearing frequent both treatment regimens, but more marked Aminoglycoside-based Thus, should also benefit for monitoring future
